"The volume of work involved in putting some of the submissions together was vast and the quality extremely impressive. Customer Care was definitely a stand out for me as this provided an opportunity for the brand/business to talk about their unique point of difference with regards to tailored service. In the category of Large Salon Spa, I think I read one of the best submission documents I have ever read, I was totally captivated and didn't want it to finish... I really felt like I was there experiencing the decadence and exquisite surroundings.
I have a feeling it will be tight at the top in some categories... Good Luck to you all!"

Laurie Creasy, Lily Blue Communications

"It was an absolute pleasure judging the ABIA Award submissions and I commend Mocha Publishing for starting this much needed initiative that is not tied to any particular association. The industry as a whole needs it as much as the businesses themselves need it. The quality of submissions, in many cases, were outstanding. The most important thing to come out for the entrants would have been that they had an opportunity to review their business from a new perspective, offering them a new opportunity to create future growth"

Brigitte Benge, Cream Salon Solutions

"It's great to see the top of the Australian beauty industry operating at a truly world class level - and it's fantastic that with the ABIA there is now an awards programme that will recognise those who are demonstrating Australian excellence. It was really inspiring to study the entries and see the great work and high standards."

Rosemary Hamilton, Rosemary Hamilton Productions

"The entrants brought an exciting buzz to the Australian Beauty Industry Awards through an array of talent and diversity"

Lauren Benson, Vogue Magazine
